Our economy editor here at the Monitor has alerted readers to the fact you can get half-price dessert at The Cheesecake Factory to honor National Cheesecake Day, an occasion that has even mobilized American Idol contestants from season 9 in Virginia Beach.
The catch (you knew this was coming, right?): You have to “Like” The Cheesecake Factory page on Facebook, which gives the company access to your profile information.
Funny! I don’t think that I’ve had a piece of cheesecake since I was 10. It’d have to be free for me…
Love the blog! Especially liked the Southern Living 2004 reference – ha!
Christina,
How is this even possible that you have had not had cheesecake since you were 10?! We need to do something about this immediately.
I love cheesecake but my facebook is too important to just “like” any company out there.
Kevin,
I’m glad you know your priorities. 🙂
I don’t like cheesecake so it was easy to not hit the like button. However, I did just have their Factory Mud Pie a few nights ago….
Carol,
I can’t believe there is a dessert you don’t like! I’m shocked, shocked!!
I know! But cheesecake is the one thing you’ll likely never find on my baking blog because I never make it/don’t like it.
